ic! Berlin make frames out of sheet metal. Sure, they make some plastic frames too, but it would seem that sheet metal is their true love.

ic! Berlin collaborated with Superfine London in early 2007 and the result looks just as good, two years later.

The frames have no screws in the hinges - the arms fold due to the way they are cut from the sheet metal and interlock with the body of the frame. This makes them really sturdy. Damn clever!
